I arrived at Wildseed Farms at 7:50am and as I approached the tree with the large amount of Monarchs - all but a few took wing. It was wonderful to see the cloud of butterflies! I estimate that 200 flew off the tree. The photos that I did get are the few that still remained roosting. We are seeing more Monarchs each day at Wildseed Farms, including a roost of several hundred. Today is the most that I have seen and they continue to come in. We may see more roosting tonight. I will take pictures if possible and post.
