Observed 4 adult monarchs today. A robust, colorful female deposited dozens of eggs on milkweed. Two males were dull and tattered; the other was in good condition. The males rested after feeding in the milkweed before moving on. Also, have 8-10 medium to large caterpillars plus another half-dozen small ones feeding on milkweed. New eggs will hatch in about 3 days.
