I bought a milkweed yesterday about 2 feet high not sure which species but at the landscaping center the plants had monarch caterpillars and butterflies on them. I brought 3 caterpillars home with me, it looks like only 1 has survived overnight. The new plant is a few feet away from 1 that seeded itself so hopefully the 2 can sustain some monarch activity.
