15:30 wind steady south 5-10 85F. 10 on liatris. 15 inside a hardwood/juniper grove, 10 inside a separate live oak grove. Those in groves were active: easily disturbed by approach or already flying.

19:15 wind calm 75F. 10 outside grove of trees, visible against post-sunset sky. All flying strongly and straight generally in direction of sunset at 10-25 ft altitude. A couple stopped briefly on trees at same height.
