A report from Jim Varnum's "This and That": "Monarch butterflies are coming thru the DFW Metroplex in droves. They are stopping to nectar on Gregg's (blue) mistflower in our yard. Ditto at Twleve Hills Nature Center in Oak Cliff. We witnessed hundreds together at LLELA on Friday, concentrated in trees near the boardwalk. Amazing! Hope they can make it across parched central Texas."
