Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/16/2011

Number: 1

Sighting of one hummingbird, along with 30+ monarch butterflies, a few yellow butterflies, and a few dark grey small butterflies with one large and one small wing near the Panhandle Hummingbird House in Navarre, Florida. They are closed for the season, but have a whole garden full of butterfly friendly plants and trees planted all around the building. It is right next to the sound, and very close to the Gulf of Mexico. Also very close to a pond with a bubbling fountain. Lots and lots of nectar filled flowers. Weather is still very warm. 70's and 80's.
