100 is a conservative count. 16:00 south wind 84F. 75% widely distributed feeding on liatris patches and 25% perching/flying in shade of groves and individual trees. Pictures show typical liatris growing in prairie grass and difficultly of seeing monarchs down in grass. (I will upload one here and send others by email) Reddish grass is Little Bluestem.
