Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/16/2011

Number: 1

My husband and his brother saw a solitary monarch while golfing in Rifle, Colorado. Not sure if this one will head to California or Mexico! Neat that he saw one...I'd asked him to be on the lookout, and he was:-)

Adding this to my report, as just obtained more details from my husband. Saw the monarch for about two minutes, flying about ten feet above the ground, in a southerly direction. He said the town of Rifle's definitely west of the Continental Divide, so this monarch would consequently be headed to California, sounds like:-)
