Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/16/2011

Number: 100

This group of monarchs appear to be a little larger individually. This is the third roosting that I have seen on our property this year. The last group experienced the winds rain and ice. This weather cause the crab apple trees to blossom. The Monarchs indulged in a nectar feast a drink of water from the watering of the grass a good nights rest and a wind from the north helping them on their way.
