The weather was so nice and my 6th grade students wanted to catch and identify butterflies, so we did. We saw a total of 4, but only caught 2 so that we could identify them as male or female. We caught 1 of each. They were getting nectar from a variety of plants - hosta, zinnias, butterfly weed, etc.
