During an outdoor conference that my husband attended at Bald Eagle State Park near Howard, PA, he sighted 11 monarchs feeding on goldenrods. Most appeared to be generally flying in a southwestern direction in a leisurely fashion. Our weather today was sunny with a slight breeze and a high of 70 degrees. We have been experiencing above average temperatures for October. Photo taken by Mark Nale.
