Today (Oct. 16), Jeff P and I (and two of his friends) did some butterflying and birding over much of New Hanover County and parts of Pender County. We covered Fort Fisher (several areas), and areas in s.e. Wilmington near Navajo Trail, looking for Cassius Blue, and along Sidbury Road, which straddles the Pender County line. Though we saw a lot of butterflies (clear skies and temps up to about 78).
