Our third grade gifted students planted 10 Red Emperor Tulip bulbs in our test garden today. We also planted two experimental gardens and planted our experimental bulbs 9 inches and 5 inches deep to see how the depth of the planting affects the rate of emergence. The weather was rainy and cold!
