Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/19/2011

Number: 1

Students found a female monarch butterfly in the bushes in the back yard. It is cold and rainy today, so she will not fly until later. The students made a comfy nest for her in a pan, and brought her into the library for tagging, but we were out of tags. We hope she will make it to Mexico!
