It was very early in the morning, not warm enough yet for the butterflies to be flying. I opened my front door and there was one on my porch on the concrete and it seemed cold so I scooped it up and brought it inside and held it in my hands for a few moments, then it started fluttering, so I opened the door and released it and it flew off.
