On Monday (10/10/11), Tuesday (10/11/11), Wednesday (10/12/11) 800 to 900+ monarchs were observed (each day)roosting at Wise Point, which is the very bottom tip of the Delmarva Peninsula on the Virginia Eastern Shore. Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory Monarch Biologist Anna Lisa Diaz has been doing roost site counts each day.
