I saw over 50 monarchs on 10-19 one of the units of the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge located in central Liberty County. Not sure what they were feeding on in the bottomland hardwoods as there are virtually no flowering plants. They all looked fairly worn after battling 15-25 mph winds that blew through.
