When I reported on the Aristolochia I was a bit premature reporting on the Monarchs in the Blanco River area in Hays County near Wimberley.
The migratory population wasn't huge, but on Monday (10/17) before the front blew through I counted 15 or so on a patch of frostweed down by the river.
