For 10/10 through 10/13, first sighting of adult male ruby throat around home since August. Similar pattern from last year. At least 2 other hummers also spotted (likely females). Some territorial activity around feeders. No observations conducted 10/14 through 10/19. Strong cold front moved through Houston morning of 10/18. Location west Houston, lat 29.75, long 97.61.
