The last hummingbird I saw was on September 18. Saturday, Oct 22, was an unusually warm afternoon (60 degrees) and four of us were sitting on the deck around 5 pm. I looked up in the tree where I normally have hummingbird feeders (I had taken them down) and saw a female hummer land in the bare tree. She stayed for a moment and then flew off over the house. I put a feeder back out Saturday night.
