Weather: Clear sky; Wind SE, 1-5 mph; Temps. 70-80s. 11:10 am - one Monarch going S; 11:25 - one Monarch stopped on Frostweed to nectar, then moved on S.; 12:00 pm - one Monarch stopped on Lantana cultivar to nectar; 12:20 pm - another Monarch stopped to nectar on Lantana; 12:28 pm - third Monarch stopped to nectar; 12:45 pm - three listed above have left; 12:52 pm - one Monarch stopped to nectar on Lantana (gone by 1:00 pm); 1:20 pm - one Monarch going S; 1:35 pm - one Monarch going S; 2:00 pm - Monarch stopped to nectar; 2:10 pm - now two Monarchs nectaring on Lantana; 2:50 pm two Monarchs are still nectaring; 2:52 pm - one went to roost in Mexican White Oak. 3:00 - stopped observing; one still nectaring.
