Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/24/2011

Number: 12

We had beautiful fall weather today, warmer than usual this time of year, and saw lots of monarch flying through, nectaring on various plants in the Children's Garden and Butterfly Garden at the South Carolina Botanical Garden, where I work. There were also two monarch caterpillars and a monarch chrysalis on the common milkweeds that we have in the butterfly garden.
