My sixth grade Science classes and I are doing a mini-unit on Monarchs!! We have an on-campus butterfly garden with lots of lantana and other favorites as well as native stands of seaside goldenrod and grounseltree. Class 6A only saw 1 Monarch at the goldenrod. They were the earliest class in the day and it was still somewhat chilly from the evening before.
