I had >50 monarchs at Port Stanley, Ontario, flying west along the north shore of Lake Erie yesterday (October 23). A few stopped briefly at the handful of dandelions still in bloom, the rest just kept chugging along low to the ground in the cool (13C,55F) temperatures.
