We planted in the front garden of our school. We measured the temperature and this was the warmest spot. No one will step on our plants and they are away from the building and pavement. We marked our garden with caution tape. We can't wait until spring to see our tulips in bloom.

March 23, 2011
As of last Friday (3/23), in spite of the unseasonally warm weather, our tulips have not emerged yet in our test garden. We did plant other bulbs in front of the school building and these have emerged. This will allow us to compare these to the test garden as our controls and variables. We will check Monday and hopefully have something to report.
