Weather: Clear sky; variable winds from E/SW, 5-15 w/gusts to 25 mph. 10:45 a.m. - Monarch suddenly appeared in Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis) (roosting?) and dropped to Lantana cultivar and began nectaring. 11:20 a.m. - 1 Monarch migrating S.; 11:30 a.m. - 1 Monarch migrating S.; 11:47 a.m. - 2 Monarchs nectaring (didn't see 2nd one come in); 12:00 p.m. - 2 still nectaring.
