I took my class outside in the afternoon for a walk about 1:30. While outside we observed 2 butterflies that were not monarchs. Then someone yelled, "There's a monarch!" We excitedly ran over to watch it. We watched it for about 4-5 minutes until it flew away. There were no other monarchs near it. We sighted it near a small wooded area next to our school.
