Just planted! I put five bulbs in an open area, one that best represents the general climate of our region. I put five other bulbs in the warmest microclimate I could find, on the south-facing side of the house only a few feet from the foundation! I wonder how much more quickly they'll grow there...I'm interested to see what happens in other JN test gardens in Vermont. Our state has a varied climate because of elevational differences.
