Signs Of The Seasons – October – Miramichi, New Brunswick Canada.
We have seen many signs of fall this month and all kinds of different weather. The days are getting shorter and shorter. It is still dark out when we get to school in the morning now. The leaves changed colours of red, orange and yellow and started to fall. The colours are beautiful! We had some really warm days on October. On our Thanksgiving weekend which was October 8 – 10th we had really hot, sunny weather. The temperature was 26C or 78F and we could wear shorts and T-shirts. The first week in October was chilly. In one day we had rain, snow, high winds and hail! Some flowers and plants are starting to die and we have had some heavy frost in the mornings. On October 30th we had snow! There was enough to make the ground white. The temperature was 2C or 36F. The sunrise time was 8:01am and the sunset is 6:07pm. We wonder what November will be like.
