Third Graders at Annie Wright Day School took advantage of a window of good weather and planted 90+ Emperor Tulips in two raised planting beds this last Tuesday and Thursday. We also planted daffodil bulbs we had saved and dried from the previous year. We measured the depth of our holes and took air and soil temperatures. The soil temperature was very close to the air temperature, and we wondered if that would always be the same. We are looking forward to seeing our brown square on the map.
