1400. light wind. 65F. direct sun. // While looking at Buckeyes, Painted Ladies and several other species swarming a patch of cowpen daisies, a large unworn Monarch landed among them. It visited several flowers for nectar. It had gone when I returned with camera. Observed from three feet away.
