Presently, I have 3 hummers in my yard. It seems each cool spell brings a wave of new birds. I still have the Ruby-throated from my last report but have determined it is an immature male. On the 29, I identified an adult female Rufous and am sure it is my bird from the last two seasons. It has a band on its leg and is using the same feeder my gal used. This is about 6 weeks earlier than last year. Today an adult male Ruby-throated showed up in the evening.
