Monarchs were seen at various locations in Delaware today. Many were seen on the Delaware bayshore at Bombay Hook NWR, Prime Hook NWR, and Cape Henlopen State Park. Monarchs were also seen migration along the coastal highway from Rehoboth Beach to Bethany Beach. Nectar included the final blooms of seaside goldenrod, heath asters, and knapweed. Temp was mid-60's with wind S at 8mph; monarchs were flapping right into the wind. Friday should be better, with wind NNE at 10-15mph.
