This evening, while checking my milkweed plants, I found 4 Monarch caterpillars at varying stages of growth. All plants that contained them had leaves missing from the ground up to about 1/4 from top of plant. There are also a number of very good looking eggs laid by the Monarch that I reported earlier this past week. I am making the assumption these are a Florida subspecies and will not migrate.
