Red Emperor tulips were planted by each of the third grade students at Montessori Magnet School in Albany, NY. Each student also had a tulip to take home with information about the Journey North program. Both MS. Reimenscheider and Ms. Whalen's classes enjoyed planting with the help of Mrs. Margolis (The Tulip Lady) from the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center. They were asked to make a prediction of what date the tulips will bloom in 2012,
