It was a gorgeous 60 degree day in Cape May, NJ today!! In celebration of Day of the Dead I went out and tagged monarchs - 25 to be exact. There were at least 50 observed nectaring in the hour I spent walking around Cape May Point. All of the monarchs that I tagged had high fat reserves - yeah! Luckily there is still lots of nectar for our butterfly friends in the gardens here.... I'm sure there were other monarchs around the areas I didn't walk. It's getting late you better get going....
