It was a nice sunny day and the single monarch fluttered across the road in front of me as I was driving. It meandered around, but was flying in a northwesterly direction, which concerned me, and which I reported to my students when I returned to the school after lunch. We all hoped that the monarch was a sign of good luck for us and wished it good luck in return and that it would eventually turn itself around.
