We have a gusty southerly wind today prior to a cold front moving in this evening. Temps were warm, 70s, and we had two monarchs in our garden, enjoying lantana and salvia. The flowers have a second life since we had a rain (finally) a few weeks ago. I'll bet the monarchs will be on the northern express in the morning, headed to Mexico. They were strong ,healthy looking, not quite adult size.
