have one male monarch that has been here for several days now.Other monarchs have come & gone,but this one continues to hang around. He roosts in the same spot on the sweet gum just above my garden,comes down pretty early to start nectaring.
We have another cool front pass through tonight,highs tomorrow in the upper 50's lows in the 40's.
We have just a few zinnias left, but the red tropical milkweed flowers are still looking good.Yellow flowers by the lake are looking good as well.
