On Monday 10/31 going across the twin span bridge of lake Pontchartrain we spotted about 30 Monarchs in flight mid lake
heading west. None on shore by our home in Slidell
yesterday (11/01) Wednesday 11/2/11 we counted 40 Monarchs as we walked across the Bay bridge in Bay St. Louis,Miss.,all heading West. There was only 1 dead one on the bridge itself. Then as we drove to Biloxi Miss. we only spotted 10 more individuals along the shore of the Gulf.
Today we have seen 0 Monarchs so far this day,11/3/11
