At 2:50 PM, I flushed a male monarch out of some dune grass along the Lake Huron shoreline at Harrisville State Park. It then flew up into a Green Ash tree and lit upon one of it's leaves. Weather was mostly sunny, temperature 48F., after a low of 31F., and wind was NE-13 mph. I saw a female monarch yesterday, but the temperature was 61F.
