My female hummingbird has returned for the 6th winter. She is busy fending off the male (who I belive is here for his 3rd winter) and a juvenile male away from her feeder. She is sitting on the same branch over her feeder as she has for 6 years and comes down to me when I call her "Baby Girl". NOt sure who was more excited about her arrival, me or her! So, it appears that 3 hummers will be the norm for this winter.
