On October 19, 2011 we planted our tulip bulbs. We planted 21 bulbs 12 cm deep and 10 cm apart. It was cloudy and 49 degrees F. We used special tools to make our holes. We also planted 4 experimental bulbs. We marked our bulbs with sticks. We put chicken wire on top of the bulbs to protect them.
