Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 11/04/2011

Number: 1

We went out to plant our tulips and there was frost outside. It was really cold when we planted our tulip bulbs. The high temperature for the day was 57 degrees and the low was 35 degrees, and we planted in the morning when it was colder. Digging a hole 18 cm deep was really hard to do. It was so hard that our teacher got a blister on her hand from helping us. We used special tools like centimeter rulers, trowels and bulb diggers. We made sure to plant our tulips pointed side up. It was fun to put our bulbs in the ground and we are excited to see when they will emerge.
