Sightings report image

Date: 11/09/2011

Number: 1

It is 9:45am on November 9th, 2011 and we have our first snowstorm. It was raining when we came to school and students were upset that they would have to have indoor recess two days in a row. (It was raining all day yesterday) The temperature dropped and we now have fluffy flakes. The weather forecast says up to 2 inches could fall in our area.
Madison's snow record for Nov. 9th is 6.8 inches which was set in 1985.
We have a great view from our LMC both to the east and west. This picture was taken out our window looking west. You can see the wind has risen by looking at the flag waving.
