Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 11/10/2011

Number: 1

We had two Annas that have been with us since the first of September. We have had a killing frost as of last week, and the flowers in the yard are done producing nectar and one of the Annas has flown on. I am bringing in the feeder at night and placing it outside around 6:30 am. The bird usually first feeds about 6:45 am. It is hanging out in a New Mexico Privet Shrub which still has its leaves, I am wondering if our friend will move on once the leaves fall and its protective shelter is gone.
