Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students received their Red Emperor Bulbs in the mail, and went straight from the Post Office (one block away) to the school garden, where the soil had already been prepared with the help of the Castine Garden Club. In went the bulbs, the children sang our seed song as the bulbs prepare for a long rest, and then the children covered up their bulbs with nice topsoil.
