We are a first grade class in Brookwood, Alabama. We were so excited to be the first tulip garden planted in Alabama! Today was a cloudy day and it rained a little off and on. The temperature was around 70 degrees. During a period of sunshine we planted our tulips in the flower bed near our classroom. We were respectful of each other and worked together to get as many bulbs planted as we could. We planted about 50. Now we can't wait for spring to see our tulips grow. We really want to get intouch with some other first graders around the United States to learn about your tulip gardens!
