This year we have three classes involved in the Journey North project. Each has planted a boys and a girls garden on opposite sides of our gazebo to see if different exposures to the sun have any effect on the blooming process. We're getting ready to visit the other classes in the school to tell them about our project and to ask them to step carefully around the gazebo so our bulbs won't be damaged. Now we just watch and wait--for spring.
