Today we planted 30 red emperor tulip bulbs. We have participated in the Journey North tulip garden for the past 3 years. We had to make a new area for this years bulbs because we already have red emperor bulbs planted in other garden. Today the air temperature was 56 degrees F and the ground temperature was 52 degrees F. Next week we are on Thanksgiving break. When we return we will plant more bulbs. We are wondering if the tulips will emerge at different times because we are planting the tulips 2 weeks apart.
